This painting was inspired by a place in Mexico called Temictla. It is a located on a piece of land in the town of Chalmita in Estado de Mexico. The beautiful sky at sunset (atardecer) is painted deep blue violets and golds. Lush green surrounds a large cliff and tipis are on the land in the foreground.
